Nice To Meet You, I’m Jess!
I am an illustrator from Wales, who loves drawing from imagination.
I studied Illustration at BA level in Leeds before completing my MA in Illustration at Manchester.
I love to bring a sense of curiosity and playfulness to my practice, combining traditional and digital techniques to tell stories that feel both joyful.
Over the course of my studies, I’ve been fortunate to gain recognition for my work, winning 2nd place in Kellogg’s Inclusive Packaging competition, being chosen as one of the winners of the Overbury & EY Art Competition, and contributing to international collaborative projects.
I’ve worked on projects ranging from children’s characters to sustainable packaging.
Right now, I’m 24 in that post uni limbo of starting out as a freelancer, seeking out opportunities in book and editorial illustration, publishing.
Programs I use: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Procreate, Procreate Dreams and ZBrush Affinity.
